![]() PS: FYI Anyone who might have another type of controller they're trying to use might want to take a look at Neyrinck V Control Pro. Sure would love to hear from aguyinnyc, or anyone who might have figured this out. ![]() In addition, each bus send can be 'panned' separately from the master bus pan location. Mixbus32C provides 12 stereo mix-buses, with send-level knobs on every channel strip. We expect this to meet the needs of users who are mixing 8-24 channels. I'm using it for 32c EQ, compressor, and send levels (busses 1-4). pastebin: VEPepH6Q NOTES: Rocksolid Control Strip 2 is a cool controller made to look like an SSL control strip. Tested and runs in Mixbus 32C 7.2.0 on Mac Os X. Some of the switches activate channel strip buttons, but no rotary controls. 2) Buses: Mixbus provides 8 stereo mix-buses, with send-levels on every channel strip. This is for the Rocksolid Audio Control Strip 2. MIDI Tracer shows incoming control data from CS2. You're having success using this together with a FP2? I have a vague recollection of Mixbus and 32C only being able to use 1 external controller at a time.be great to combine CS2 with the FP16.Īny luck with this? Same problem here. I have a Faderport 16, which I never use for Comp, EQ or sends. *** forum won't let me upload a ".map" file - remove ".txt" from the end of this file before using or it won't work ***Thanks for uploading this. Also went to MIDI > Port Config to select "Control Data" for the controller under "MIDI Inputs" Then enabled "General Midi" in Mixbus > Preferences > Control Surfaces, then clicked "Show Protocol Settings" and selected the controller under "Incoming MIDI On" and the map under "MIDI Bindings". How to get it to work: On Mac I placed this in Applications > Mixbus 7 > Contents > Resources > midi_maps. I'm planning to use this alongside a Faderport 2 so I can use one hand for transport/track controls and the other for eq and compression. There are also Q knobs which I did not use. I followed Mixbus (ie left knob for frequency and right knob for gain). Pretty standard midi controller fiddling.Īnother is that the knob position of the EQ section of Control Strip is backwards to Mixbus in terms of Gain vs Frequency. But after a bit of twizzling everything comes to life and works. One comment is that the rotary encoders can feel "sticky" at first and sometimes need to be twisted about a bit before the onscreen controls work. Instructions for setting up Control Strip 2's software to work with my MIDI Map are in the map comments but it's pretty easy. I'm using it for 32c EQ, compressor, and send levels (busses 1-4).
